Alfa is an Alfa Romeo 156 2.5 V6 six speed manual donated by Ateco Automotive
who are the importers of Alfa Romeo in Australia.
The car is
part of a 12 month sponsorship deal for the Bondi Crime Prevention Officer
and allows him to
carry out
his duties in the area without using a "tax payer funded" Police vehicle.
The deal with the Alfa is that it is replaced every 10,000 kms. Alfa Romeo have indicated that they might be supplying an Alfa Romeo Spyder convertible for summer which will look good cruising the streets of Bondi in Police markings.
